The Womble Family

In 1933, the Roland Goldston family moved to Ashley Heights, NC, between Aberdeen and Raeford.  He worked for Jim Womble, his mother's brother who owned a peach farm there.  Dad was manager and we lived on a hill in the middle of the farm.  Uncle Jim and Aunt Lena Womble lived a field away, several hundred yards.  They had two children, J. B. and Mildred.

I haven't been able to find much of the Womble family, so if anyone has any further information please email me.

Robert Lee Goldston married Julia Womble.  His brother, Herbert (family historian) married Elizabeth Womble.  Were they sisters?

In Herbert's history, he mentions Ethel Goldston, b 1/24/1892, m A. B. Womble, b______, d _______, live Goldston, NC, m Lonnie P. Horne, b ______.
