Goldston, used to run with Jack, he was about my age or maybe a year or so
older. His parents must have died young,
because Jack and his brother Harry were raised by Uncle Hugh Goldston. Harry
really ran Goldston’s Beach, White Lake, NC. In the mid-fifties I worked
for Dun & Bradstreet and traveled the eastern half of NC and in the summer
frequently stayed at the Goldston Hotel at Goldston's Beach.
